Hotmail 提供免費 POP3、SMTP

之前就有傳聞 Hotmail 即將免費提供 POP3 & SMTP 服務，現在已經在下列地區可供使用：英國、加拿大、澳洲、法國、日本、紐西蘭、西班牙、德國、義大利。

啟用這項功能，登入到 Hotmail 中，選項中的個人資訊->註冊資訊，改成上述九個國家中之一即可。

POP3 & SMTP Server：

User Name: Windows Live ID ( yourname@hotmail.com)
Password: 密碼

POP3
Server: pop3.live.com
Port: 995
SSL 安全連線: Yes (On or Required)
SMTP
Server: smtp.live.com
Port: 25
Outgoing Authentication: Yes
SSL 安全連線: Yes (On or Required)

順帶一提，Yahoo的設定如下，

再到電子信箱選項中，就會看到POP收信與自動轉寄的功能。

內送郵件伺服器 (POP3)：pop.mail.yahoo.com.tw
使用 SSL，連接埠 (port): 995
外寄郵件伺服器 (SMTP)：smtp.mail.yahoo.com.tw
使用 SSL，連接埠 (port): 465，使用安全驗證
